KRAFFT LOW STARCH PELLETS is a fibre-rich feed with extra-low sugar (6%) and starch (4%) contents. The energy is provided primarily by a high proportion of fibre and fat. Medium protein level. Low Starch Pellets contain live yeast (Levucell®) to maintain good stomach health.
Always give your horse access to forage before feeding it concentrate feed and try to spread its concentrate feeds evenly throughout the day.

Levucell is an active live yeast which is active in the large intestine of the horse. There it works to increase the digestibility of the feed and thereby also increase the availability of nutrients. The active live yeast helps to break down fibers and contributes to a more stable flora of the large intestine. Levucell SC consists of the yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae CNCM I-1077, which has both a probiotic effect – that is, increasing the amount of important microorganisms in the colon and a prebiotic effect – that is, contributing to a good environment in the large intestine to benefit the survival of the good microorganisms.
Feeding guide:
A suitable feed ration should be based on the nutritional value of the feed, level of performance, growth and whether the horse is in foal or lactating.
A target value for an adult horse is around 0.2–0.3 kg of concentrates per 100 kg of horse, and at least 1.5 kg of dry matter forage per 100 kg of horse. Low concentrate feed may need an extra mineral feed supplement. Before feeding, Low Starch Pellets benefit from soaking in 70°C water; allow to cool before feeding.

Returns Policy
